Dún Laoghaire Pier (5 mins drive)

Dún Laoghaire is a hive of activity and the East Pier is the perfect place to take a family stroll, breathe in the sea air plus enjoy stunning views of Dublin Bay. Why not treat yourself and the family to Teddy’s Ice cream or hot beverage or if you just want to sit and watch the sailboats and yachts navigate the harbour, then Dún Laoghaire pier is the perfect spot to watch the world go by.

James Joyce Tower & Museum (5 mins drive)

Open daily with free admission. Embrace the literature of James Joyce within this iconic museum at the Martello Tower, Sandycove, Co. Dublin.

DLR Lexicon Library (5 mins drive)

Boasting spectacular views of Dun Laoghaire Harbour and Beyond The DLR Lexicon Library is the perfect place to browse over a book, grab a coffee and use some grey matter with 80,000 items in the adult and junior libraries, 60+ computers, 100 study spaces, and a floor dedicated to Local Studies, there is plenty to discover at DLR Lexicon.

Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre (8 mins drive)

Drop-in tours run half-hourly from 10.00 on weekdays and 11.00 on weekends in Dalkey Castle. Their guides and actors will take you back in time to Tudor days with Barber Surgery, Archery, and Cooking. If you are feeling energetic, you can climb to the battlements and take in magnificent views of the sea and mountains. You can browse our interactive screens and immerse yourself in past stories. Killiney Hill Park (6 mins drive)

Killiney Hill and Dalkey Hill form part of Killiney Hill Park, a large public park overlooking both Dalkey and Killiney villages. A popular destination for walkers and hikers availing of the spectacular views, over the surrounding areas: Dublin to the northwest, the Irish Sea and the mountains of Wales (on a clear day) to the east and southeast, and Bray Head and the Wicklow Mountains to the south. There are fantastic amenities for the kids and our four-legged friends.
