A healthy lifestyle and nutrition is a conscious choice and not a fad, a healthy lifestyle is all about balance, regular mental and physical activities, good clean eating and most importantly sleep. Healthy nutrition is not about strict dietary limitations or trying to stay unrealistically thin. Short term “fad” diets are a definite “no-no” plus they are hard to follow and it’s easy to slip back to unhealthy food habits. A healthy lifestyle will leave you feeling great with more energy, improve your skin and overall health, plus aid hormonal balance, generally improving your whole wellbeing.
I believe in a balanced diet, we all need certain dietary amounts of protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre, vitamins, minerals on a daily basis to sustain a healthy body.Eating a healthy breakfast can jumpstart your metabolism while eating smaller healthy meals (rather than eating 3 big meals a day) throughout the day keeps your energy up and helps stabilise your blood sugar. Avoid eating late at night, try to eat dinner earlier and fast for 14-16 hours until breakfast the next morning, it will help you to regulate your weight.
